Let’s kick things off on a sweet note, shall we?

While doing my usual “just five more minutes” scroll through food content, I came across an eye-catching image labeled: Healthy Protein Chocolate Cookie Fluff Dessert. Say less. I love dessert. I love protein. And if something claims to be healthy and indulgent? That’s a challenge I’ll gladly accept.

So I asked my AI kitchen assistant to pull together a recipe based on the description-and here’s what it spit out.

The AI Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoons instant sugar-free cheesecake or vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup sugar-free Cool Whip
  • 4 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • (Optional) 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Directions:

  1. Mix everything in a bowl until light and fluffy. Top with cookie crumbs. Chill before serving.

Prep time: 5 minutes

What Actually Happened:

Ease of Prep:

Super simple. The AI estimates 5 minutes, but with ingredient wrangling and an unplanned 45-second deep stare into my spice cabinet, it clocked in closer to 10. Still, nothing required a stove, oven, or anything fancier than a spoon and a bowl.

Ingredients:

I purchased all of the ingredients for $12.76 and it made about 2-3 servings. There is a level of flexibility to this recipe and any chocolatey crunchy thing works. I personally would add a little more whipped cream than the recipe calls for, but that’s just me.

Taste Test:

Surprisingly delicious! The texture was rich and similar to a more fluffy cream cheese frosting. The yogurt brought in a tangy creaminess ( the Greek yogurt taste was very apparent). The crushed cookies on top? Necessary. Crunchy contrast= game changer.

Final Thoughts:

Is it replacing my go-to brownie recipe? Not quite. But for a 10-minute, no bake, high-protein sweet fix? Absolutely worth it.

Stay tuned for the next test- because AI has some very confident ideas about what counts as “dinner.”
